Oh, Mother Earth!
Is it from you we have taken birth?
Oh, Mother Earth,we have failed you.
May be harsh but is true.
A beautiful place to live is what you have given us.
We took it for granted and threw you under a bus.
Food you have provided for us to eat.
In return we polluted you with plastic that we use to wrap our meat.
Oh, Mother Earth, we have failed you.
May be harsh, but is true.
Water you have given us to drink.
In return we flooded you with trash in which you sink.
Air you have provided to breathe and live.
In return pollution with cars and factories is what we give.
Oh, Mother Earth we failed you.
May be harsh, but is true.
What can we do to save the destruction.
And make this a better construction.
It isn`t late.
And we shan't wait.
Oh Mother Earth, we are sorry we failed you.
May be harsh, but is true.
A promise we shall make today.
Is to strive to make you better everyday.
To undo the mistakess that we have made.
A new foundation has to be laid.
Oh, Mother Earth, WE SHALL SAVE YOU!
May be difficult but, yes we shall do!
